Take A Bold Step Of Faith

Let me describe some people from the Bible; Jacob was a cheater, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Paul was a murderer, Jonah ran from God, Miriam was a gossiper, Mary was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Gideon was insecure, Sarah was inpatient, Elijah was moody, Zacchaeus was short, Abraham was old, Lazarus was dead. What is your excuse? Why can’t God use you to do great things? Why can’t you fulfill your destiny? Why can’t you be a history maker?
Joel Osteen

Things don’t always go our way, and sometimes God calls us to do things we weren’t prepared to do and expects us to live a life that we didn’t plan to live. Sometimes we have to sacrifice our own plans in order to obey God and to help save other people’s lives.
Aren’t you glad that God and other people made some sacrifices for you?

The Bible talks about a woman called Esther; she was a young woman with her own dreams and plans of her own, but she was called by God to make a choice that was not part of her plan for the future.
Queen Esther was a bold woman, because she chose to have faith in God’s plan for her life and chose to obey Him. She risked being put to death, but she ended up being married to the king and saving a whole nation.

David was just a shepherd boy with faults and mistakes, but God chose Him to be king over many nations and to defeat Goliath, who was much bigger than him.

Can you imagine the lives of those people if she hadn’t made that sacrifice and obeyed God? If you choose today to accept the calling God is offering you, you can heal families and affect the future of their descendants. You can change generations in the future by making wise choices in the present.

When He calls you, please be one of those who dare to step out in faith and let God work great miracles through you. Dare to be different for God, answer God’s call.
