Treating others as they treat you, does not make things better, it just makes you just as bad as them. It can be tempting to be revengeful and want to get back at those who hurt us and treat us bad, but Romans 12:21 says: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Psalms 51:10 says: “Create in me a Clean Heart, O God”, and to have a clean heart we must do our best to not be hateful, revengeful or bitter towards people who hurt us. Try as much as you can to distance yourself from the hurt, the pain and the emotions that can come with being hurt. I’m not saying it’s easy, but I’m saying that it will be worth it to forgive and let karma do its work and let people reap what they sow.

Enjoy your Life, Live with a Clean Heart and Live With Peace.
“Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
