When You Close the Doors of Sin, You Open the Doors of Peace and Blessings

Living a Peaceful and Carefree Life

Living a Peaceful and Carefree Life shouldn’t be that difficult; but still it seems to be a struggle for so many of us. Some of us want the simple things in life; things that seem simple and should be easy to achieve, like Peace of Mind and a Happy and Healthy life. But what many have found is that it’s not as easily achievable as it seems. What does it take to live a happy, peaceful, carefree life? What is it that makes life be the opposite? To know how to achieve peace and happiness, you have to know what you’re doing wrong that is blocking you from having it.

Close the Doors of Sin, Confess and Repent, Break the Curses and Pray Without Ceasing

If you want a happier and a more peaceful life, then you must close every door of sin, unrighteousness and ungodly living. The more doors you close for sin, the more doors you open for the Fruits of the Spirit and the things you’ve been praying for. When you are closing the doors of sin, you’re also closing the doors for a lot of the things that are destroying your peace, joy and blessings.

You have to live a life of a High Moral Standard and Excellence. Live in God’s will and after His Word . There are hundreds of opportunities and chances to be offended and tempted to sin, that’s why you must Daily put on the armor of God and be in Constant Prayer. You have to Pray Without Ceasing and Daily Study the Word of God.

Ephesians 5:16-17: So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, so that you do not do what you want.

Galatians 5:22-26: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.

Living a Life of Excellence and Living after a High Moral Standard

The more excellent you live, the less doors and room there is for sin and evil to operate in your life. When you’re living a life of Excellence, Nobility, Virtue and High Moral Standard, then there is no room for sin or compromise. The definition of Noble is:

“Having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles.” “Synonyms: righteous, virtuous, good, honorable, honest, upright, upstanding, decent, worthy, noble-minded, uncorrupted, anti-corruption, moral, ethical, reputable, magnanimous, unselfish, generous, self-sacrificing, brave.” (Oxford Dictionary)

You have to know yourself, your weaknesses, your temptations and fight against them with the Word of God. If you don’t know yourself or your weaknesses, then it’s difficult to fight against and overcome them. You have to constantly and Daily Renew Your Mind. Renewing your mind is not just a once a week or once in a while thing, it has to be an Everyday thing. That is, if you want to stay on the Right Path, make the Right Choices and LIVE in the Will of God and Enjoy the Happiness, Health, Peace and Prosperity that comes with it.

Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Live With a Clean Heart

To please God you have to have a Clean Heart; and to have a Clean Heart you must Renew Your Mind and leave behind your former habits, sins and compromising behavior, thoughts and deeds. Sin begins in your mind. If you are already thinking about temptations, sin and considering compromising your morals and values; then Your Mindset, Heart and Spirit already need Renewal and Cleansing. You might need to utter a prayer that says:

Psalm 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Before You Listen to the Advices of Other People or Your Own Thoughts

There are hundreds of voices out there telling us what we should or must do; but to know the truth of what you really should do and how you should live, and what choices to make, you must live after and study the Word of God.

You also have to discern the things you are telling yourself and thinking to yourself. Not every thought or idea or impulse you get is good, godly or right. You have to pray for Right Discernment to make right decisions and choices. Ask for confirmation for making the right choice, don’t just get an idea and impulse and go for it.

You have to take the time to Pray and then Listen; and then Get Confirmation to be sure that the Choices You are Making are Right.

Why Are Some Sinful People Blessed?

Some people are living sinful lives, but are blessed because of the prayers and righteousness of the people who was before them. The inheritance and fruit of nobility, excellence and righteousness were passed on to future generations. Some of the people before them paved the way and paid the price of suffering, hard, work, labor and living a life of excellence which the generations after them have enjoyed.

If you want your next generations and the generations coming after you to be blessed, you have to Pave the Way, Pay the Price and Live a Life of Excellence. So your children, grandchildren and generations to come can enjoy the Fruits of Peace, Joy, Wealth, Health and many of the good things God and Life has to offer.

A Prayer to Close the Doors of Sin:

“Dear Creator and Heavenly Father. In the Name of Jesus I pray that you will help me to see what parts of my Mind, Heart and Spirit that needs renewal and cleansing. Help me to Live a life of Excellence, Nobility and Virtue. I know sin leads to death and torment, and I confess and repent of my sins. Reveal to me any unconfessed sins and help me to repent so I can be Forgiven and have Life.

I confess and repent of: (Insert your own confession here).

I want to Live and I want to have the Peace and Joy You Destined Me to Have. Help me to be a blessing to others and help me to close every door of evil and unrighteousness and ungodliness in my life, and in the life of those around me and future generations. I pray that you will Lead me and my family to deliverance. Help me to break every generational curse in my life and family, that came from the sins of our ancestors, and the curses I’ve brought into my own life through my own sins and transgressions. Deliver me and future generations from sin and lead us to Righteousness and Godliness. In Jesus Name.”

Scriptures to Reflect On:

Deuteronomy 30:19: This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may Live.

Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 5:10: Test and prove what pleases the Lord.

Ephesians 5:17: Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Colossians 1:9: For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Colossians 3:10: And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

Titus 3:5: He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 1:14: As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance.

1 John 2:15: Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Ephesians 5:7-10: You were running so well. Who has obstructed you from obeying the truth? Such persuasion does not come from the One who calls you. A little leaven works through the whole batch of dough. I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he may be.

Galatians 1:3-4: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

Ephesians 4:17-32:New Life in Christ’: So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts. Having lost all sense of shame, they have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity, with a craving for more. But this is not the way you came to know Christ. Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him, in keeping with the truth that is in Jesus, to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another. “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing good with his own hands, that he may have something to share with the one in need. Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and tender-hearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.
