OUR PHILOSOPHY AND VISION
Closer To Heaven Ministries have a vision of justice and equality to all human beings, there’s no need for anybody to be hungry in this world when we have enough food for every single person. The problem is not a lack of food, the problem is that there’s an unbalanced distribution of goods. And our goal is to create a balanced distribution of goods all over the world.
All over the world there’s restaurants, bakeries and stores throwing away tons of food, and food which could be used to feed hungry people goes to waste. We want to use this unnecessary waste of food as a useful source of feeding the poor and the needy. All over the world there’s also millions of people having an overload of clothes and items which could be helpful for people who don’t have anything. Our vision and goal is to distribute these goods equally, so that no one have to starve or have a lack of the basic necessities.
Our vision and hope is also to spread the Word of God to those in need of spiritual healing and guidance, as the Bible say in Matthew 4:4: “Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
The Word of God also say in Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” We want to be a light in the world for those in spiritual darkness and bring inner healing to those in need. Our hope and vision is to feed the hungry, bring water to those who are thirsty, heal the sick, clothe the poor, and to look after those in need.
Matthew 25:34-40: Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You? And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’
